Never before has openly accessible content been so excellent and important to libraries as it is now. Given COVID-19’s economic impact on educational institutions at all levels, many libraries are cutting whatever budget they may have for commercial streaming video products. Those inevitable losses will make it necessary for librarians to create more in-depth, detailed finding aids for open streaming media and videos to assist and enhance online instruction at all levels of education. This essay is intended to help libraries begin that process.
