The availability of quality, open access video collections with educational value will continue to grow in response to dynamic changes in education. Teachers in K-12 schools are adopting new methods of teaching, using diverse technologies and video, to create the “flipped classroom.” In higher education, MOOCs, together with other open learning models, seem to be developing alongside traditional higher education models. Thus, librarians are in a unique position to find educational video resources, organize them for the users they serve, and evaluate them for their educational potential.
